Families are Forever

What is it about families, that they make you happy and irritated at the same time? What does each family posses that is different from the rest? Hmm...
This photo brings back memories. I think it was my mom who took the photo, or our present helper, I'm not sure. We were at the Philippine Eagle Center and it was a great day to be outdoors with all the animals. I can honestly say that that day was the most precious day of my life. We were a family, perfect and naive, strong and optimistic.
When we lost one member, it felt like the most important part of the puzzle was lost. Still, we kept on going through life, knowing that the future was unclear. The four of us, I can say, are closer now than before. We each look out for each other and for the rest of our family members. It's beautiful, isn't it? Life, I mean. It gives you a hundred reasons to frown and cry, but we must show life a thousand reasons to live on and smile.

"Life is going to test you in ways it never has before. Don't let your future change the good person you are or make you forget who you are." -Moulton, Angelfire
