I want to be that guy
Who never makes a
girl cry.
Instead, he’ll make
her smile;
He’ll make her love
him forever, not a while.
I want to be that
girl
Who never aims for an
earl.
Instead, she’ll set
her mind to her dreams
And prioritize and
smoothen all the seams.
I want to be that man
Who faces life with
an, “I can!”
He won’t run away or
cower and hide;
Instead, he’ll rise
and break the tide.
I want to be that
woman
Who waits and chooses
the right “someone”.
She holds her head
high,
And the limit to her
dreams is the sky.
I want to be that son
Who smiles and befriends
everyone;
Who kisses his mother
on the forehead
Even if he’s thirty
and tall and well-fed.
I want to be that
daughter
Who takes challenges
to conquer;
Who dances with her
father in every event
And never forgets to
give him a kiss in the end.
You can be that
person
Who sees beauty in
the midst of an imperfection;
Who cherishes friends
and family
And lives life to the
highest degree.
